The Company:

Sequoia was founded in 2002 in Australia: Sequoia Smart Solutions Pty Ltd,

Sequoia focuses on the Smartcard Integrated Ticketing aspect of the Public Transport industry, and is actively involved in:

  • managed project work,
  • consultancy, and,
  • niche product development,

in the European, Asian and Australian markets.

Sequoia is an independent entity, having no association with any AFC equipment or system supplier.

The Activities:

Sequoia’s core competencies range from 'concept' to 'operation', and include:

  • design, development, integration, test, deployment, commissioning and operation advisory.

The People:

Sequoia’s people have extensive hands-on experience and background in the world-wide AFC industry, underscored by the fact that, individually or collectively, they have been instrumental in the tender and/or development of many of the major AFC systems implemented globally since the mid-nineties; including Berlin, Denmark, Hong Kong, Perth, Rome, San Francisco, Seattle, Singapore, Sydney.This combination of skills and experience is exceptional in the AFC industry and represents in excess of 100 man-years of contemporary experience in successful AFC projects worldwide.
